Chrystelle Jean Represents Haiti in Poland

Chrystelle Jean - Miss Supranational Haiti 2016

For the second time Haiti has perticpated in the Miss Supranational pageant thanks to her own daughter, Chrystelle Jean. The Caribbean Island was represented by Chrystelle Jean who took it upon herself to bring her country into the spotlight in Europe. The Miss Supranational Haiti was not going to send any contestant to this year pageant because of funding and budget issues.

When Chrystelle learned about that, she asked the owner/ director of the pageant, Mr. Chris Puasant to partocipate on behalf of her country. The director agreed but with one condition, that Miss Chrystelle must shoulder all the expenses on her own. Miss Jean agreed to took on the challenge even when she had only three weeks to come up with $4,000 for the pageant fee and lodging. She still had to come up with money for her gowns including the national custom, which she was forced to design on her own.

Within two weeks Chrystelle was able to creat the miracle and turn the pageant into her playground.
